The Safe Environment class and background check must be renewed every three years.
For the Safe Environment class, Archbishop Shaw High School typically hosts a class on the second Monday of the month from 7 pm to 8:30 pm in Don Bosco Hall. The instructor is Bro. Jerry Meegan. Or, you may attend any of the classes listed at the ADNO Safe Environment site. There is currently no fee for this class.
FSE Background Authorization Form - complete this form and turn into the Pastoral Center or VOL School office with the required fee.
Austin Computing Registration Instructions - use these instructions to create your account; this account will store the dates of your class and background check; it will also allow you to view the dates when you sign in and allow the sites (VOL Parish, VOL School, any other archdiocesan school or parish) you designate to see the dates as well. Please list VOL Parish as the primary site for CCD and VOL School as the primary if you have students attending the school.
